Philadelphia artist
Clay Johnson is a classic landscape painter, most known
for his large paintings of Valley Forge and the Schuylkill River.
After
earning a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Northern
Illinois University in 1975, he moved east to study at the Pennsylvania
Academy of
the Fine Arts. Settling in the Manayunk area of Philadelphia,
Johnson continues to paint landscapes, on site, throughout the region.
Avidly sought by highly successful companies and individuals,
his
paintings are represented in numerous collections, both
public and private. A limited number of paintings and
drawings are available for purchase and one may email the
